The American Legion is open to anyone who served at least one day on federal active duty in the U.S. Armed Forces since December 7, 1941, and received an honorable discharge — or is currently serving honorably.
Membership operates on a calendar-year basis. National dues are around $40 per year; Post 137 sets its own additional local dues, payable January 1 each year.

Support local youth programs like Boys State, Oratorical Contest, and other Legion initiatives.
Annual dues are payable by January 1. You can renew through MyLegion.org or by contacting our membership officer below.
Post 137 also has active American Legion Auxiliary and Sons of The American Legion squadrons — so veterans' spouses, daughters, mothers, sisters, sons, grandsons, and great-grandsons can find a place to serve too. Ask Kevin about joining the right family organization for you.
